The Universe
Some days I am in awe of the “notes from the universe”, and yeah, I am sure most of us receive it. The difference may only be the name in it…
A shift, a change… or shifting into change. Or changing to shift into more. That is me this morning. Let me be honest, this has been me for many years.
Within every day, I know, I have either handed a smile, or handed some pain, or sounded brutal, or too honest for some. The constant reminder of “one cannot please everyone, thus aim to please the self”, I have read so many times over that I have developed a dislike towards the saying. Oh, I see you – thinking I am “not positive”, yes, I am – still a rational, analytical thinking human.
Yesterday, I celebrated the 7th year turn of my daughter. Watching her last night, words echoed spoken almost the same amount of time, she is breathing earth air. Words that created a wound, that still at times, even though the flesh has healed, are tender to the touch –
A gladiator says the universe – that means I am a warrior. And I will have wounds, and I will remember where they come from. And in the battle towards finding glorious parts of myself, in turn whomever crosses my path will find the courage to find the gladiator in themselves.
I took the first step, in making my word smaller in order to become bigger. Say what?
Exactly that.
