Everyone is a healer, and everyone is the Guru…
Good morning,
Quite the statement isn’t it? And those fragile toes that will be under my steal tipped boots this morning. Watch out.
Everyone seems to have all the answers these days. Ask anyone, and they will recite some positive affirmation read somewhere and tell you everything will be ok. Doesn’t that just piss you off. Are you like me that want to smack them in the face with a brick?
I have a wall that tells me from certificate to certificate, I know some shit. Excuse the language this morning, read pass the “swear” words, and enjoy the ride.
From Saturday, last week, until today, I have been trying to gather my thoughts, and the ability to just function semi human. Don’t worry we are not riding the wagon of losses and death and all those dark things again this morning.
This morning I am playing the pretentious bitch part. The part that people so need to see. So, want to deal with and so love – apparently. Thus, decided to give you what you need to feel okay about yourself for a bit.
Stand still for a second or roll that sip of coffee over your tongue. If you are standing still, I hope it is not in a busy street, or that you have burned your tongue! You laughing yet? No, let me try harder.
I find the world a fascinating place, I find the world a scary place. I find the world a beautiful place and I find the world the ugliest place ever created. Wow, contradictions galore today.
I am ok with all these fluctuating contradictions of ONE “place” in my thoughts. Are you? Can you look at something and be still with the feelings that it brings up within you? Are you able to allow your vessel to progress all that you are, without the pressures of the mundane life forcing you to be “all happy and shiny”?
My wall tells me that I have the capacity to understand trauma, and the capacity to help people heal. It also tells me, I have the capacity to journey with people, helping them understand their place in the sun, or at least finding it. My wall tells me, that I have spent many hours devoting myself to learn about what the GURUS say, the hob-nobs, the know-it-alls. My wall tells me of discipline, of getting down to business, and applying myself. My wall tells me that I have semi achieved that which I set out to achieve.
What my wall doesn’t tell me is how to set those know-it all people on fire, or hide a body perfectly, or oh my god, I can go to jail for saying that… anyway, it doesn’t tell me that I have mastered my own life. It doesn’t give me all the answers. It doesn’t jump open on my table with a reference to page, so and so, this and that, read here and feel better.
Why do people think that a “healer” (starting to dislike that word as much as “psychic-medium”), life is perfect. That someone that can foretell from an oracle, have a perfect life. The expectation of the “healer” never undergoing any emotional disturbances, or a traumatic, life changing experience.
I have a strong belief, share it or don’t, only a person birthed in fire, living one of heart-ship one after the other, can truly understand another human being, when they sit across from you needing a loving, caring ear.
I have knowledge, lots and lots of knowledge… and slowly, everyday I get to turn that knowledge into wisdom. Just like you I am resistant in most things, all strong and crap. We love giving advice to other people, but seldomly listen to the words we hand out….
I’ve got bricks in case you need some today 😊, and I do need some fertiliser for the trees… Kidding, just kidding.
For today, be your own healer, don’t depend on the words and wisdom of another. Find your own truth, and darlings, those expectations, just bury them. It will save you some heart break in the end.
Instead of a fun Friday, I proudly give you a bitch-day.
