Today I need to share something copied many years ago.
It has become clear that some people may benefit from this share. Others may be challenged to think… we can hope, not a bitchy comment, however one of sincerity.
Trapped in our little bubbles we are for most of our lives. Let us think further than our crooked noses, look over our big boobs, see if we can reach our toes over boepies (big tummies) 😊
I am finding small “treasures” almost daily… A reminder of a time gone past, and a revisit to my own “life plan” I guess…

“People who do not succeed, they sure do know how to talk, they make elaborate plans, preparing the road they must walk.
Agendas and schedules are set, they gather advice by the ton and then they abandon the race, at a time when it has only begun. With things that appear more important they are side-tracked and interest lost.
They convince themselves to believe, that the bridge that they have chosen can’t be crossed. Those elaborate plans start to slip, those schedules start falling apart,
they forget and don’t follow it through and “negative help” goes to heart…
They are masters of procrastination and soon their objectives are dead
but not before making a list of every excuse in their head.
There is a trade that all of them share, it is a fact they are always denying…
but no matter how hard they try they cannot and will not stop lying.
Those schedules and plans are a lie
And make for appearance sake
They are maps that losers lay out
With no intention to take…
They ask for the “expert” advice,
To make what they are asking look true
While really, they are wanting is to hear, what they just cannot do.
Of every excuse ever made, the favourite’s “I don’t have the time”, how easy, how feeble, how sad, they are just lying
And that is the crime.
They tell you it isn’t their fault…that something has got in the way, when really; they have to admit, they allow it to happen each day
When saying they just could not find
The road they were wanting to take,
They are failing to see it is the truth,
That the effort They just did not make…
They will tell you earnest as well,
How so very hard they have tried,
When really like everything else…
It is just one more time they have lied.
Do you see yourself in these lines,
You are not alone if so,
Don’t be surprised or ashamed
Make changes and forward you go…
The winners also make plans
But start while the ink is still drying, before things are fully developed,
At full speed they are already trying…
Yes, the winners have schedules as well, but don’t let them get in the way,
If they must, they revise or abandon,
To get on with the job everyday
If a winner you want to be…
To yourself, you must be true, that is the price to pay.
