Another night of battling to still the mind and rest in peace.
I read in a “by-the-by” of Saturn in retrograde until (under correction) September. Somewhere in there it stated that this is the time for karmic debt to be repaid. Had me stand still for a bit and wondering what exactly I would be paying for. Not that I believe in that thing of Karma – don’t stone me, I simply see it scientifically, every action has a reaction, so in theory I do subscribe to the “karma” thing. I am simply aware of my actions, and know, somewhere in there will be a lesson, class it good or bad, your choice. We need it to evolve… say it with me one more time…
“Nothing in this world stays the same, the only thing constant is CHANGE”. And may this moto then carry you through as to what the astrologers say are the karmic phase repay…
One can sit back and say, seriously??? We just survived Mercury retrograde, now you tell me Saturn has plans of Her own too??? Yeah, sorry, and *cough*, let us not forget Mercury plays with us one more time in July… *sigh*
Do any of you like surprises? I don’t. Good ones or bad ones, I don’t… and even though the other half of me (I believe) got stuck as a feline, nor am I nosy… kid you not… I even take months to open birthday present… *weirdo*, yeah, I know.
Overshare, my bad. Right. Let’s chat… surprises or rather semi equipped to deal with whatever is coming your way. I choose the latter. If you remember I mentioned yesterday that at least I have reached a place where I look at my actions in a situation, not playing the victim or the hero, but taking responsibility for my part.
Yes, I am grown up enough to apologize, even when I am not directly to blame, sho hey, sticky one this one. You know when someone bumps their toe or elbow and we say, “oh I am so sorry”, or someone passes and we say, “sorry for your loss”, those are called sympathy apologies.
Apologies wear a coat of many colours… let us get back quick to a surprise… Well, you get home after a hectic day, and a friend or co-worker quickly needs to use your bathroom from the lift-club, and you open your door, just be shocked into almost tears, as your “pretty little home” looks like 20 poltergeists have gone through, you are now unsure if the child flushed the toilet… and the cats have killed a bird and feathers everywhere… argh you get it – let me drive you to the point… The perception created: “You are messy, unorganised, seriously live in a “pig-sty”
You smile stupidly, looking like Shrek after having the snails, “Oh excuse the mess”…
But now you are left after said person has gone, with different emotions flooding through you. Ok me – eh, I can care less whether you think my house is untidy, I life with multitude of felines…
That beautiful, uncalled for surprise, shock, let us be honest… embarrassment… You can either go crazy and fume into a raging fire, or you can step away and realize, the “damage” is done, (I used the house as a very ordinary example, as we all say, excuse the mess…)Now, for damage control.
See why I hate surprises… It can be good, or very, oh so very bad. In the end, one must learn from it. The reaction towards the apology, the words and honesty shown, the understanding towards the other person and how they feel… being aware of everything around you, every person, every possible perception… takes hard work – within that, ultimately, your request for forgiveness become less…
The above, is something to strive towards. Well for me it is, and yesterday, I was very proud of myself… a tad of knowledge turned into wisdom, used to my higher purpose and not allowing a surprise to derail any part of who I am….
Thanks Universe, One for me… now let’s continue on Your weird and wonderful journey.
